Project Arborizar
The project brings together companies committed to caring for the environment, participating in environmental actions, and seeking the well-being of the community they are part of.
Through the Arborizar Project, JOMO plants trees on streets and avenues in the cities of Novo Hamburgo and Ivoti, aiming to reduce pollution, bring climate balance, and, of course, make the cities much more beautiful. This project also focuses on environmental education by raising awareness among future generations in schools for early grade children.

100% Clean Energy
JOMO uses only clean, fully renewable electricity that does not harm the environment
The electricity consumed by the company comes from wind, solar, biomass, small hydroelectric plants (PCH), and micro-hydro plants (CGH), aiming to achieve an environmentally clean and sustainable energy matrix, in line with the company’s principles and values.

Material Recycling
In this project, JOMO provides post-industrial materials for recycling practices in schools, NGOs, and institutions.
This action aims to provide information, awareness, and environmental sensitivity related to waste management. Materials are transformed into socio-pedagogical activities, offering new possibilities and exercising the creativity of those involved. More than 100 tons of materials have been reused and recycled since the project’s inception.

Bottle Cap Collection
The project’s goal is to support the Associação de Assistência em Oncopediatria – AMO Criança, which assists children and adolescents with cancer.
JOMO provides containers for employees to deposit plastic caps, which are donated to an institution. The proceeds from the sale of the material are used to purchase medication and fund medical treatments. Additionally, this initiative helps reduce plastic waste and promotes sustainability.

Cooking Oil Recycling
This project aims to minimize the environmental impact caused by the improper disposal of saturated oil.
JOMO employees can exchange used cooking oil for gifts when they bring it to the company. The collected oil is sent to CAUDEQ in Novo Hamburgo for soap production or to COLETO in Porto Alegre, where it is recycled for use in the detergent, cosmetics, and biofuels industries.
